MY PROCESS

My creative process is a dynamic blend of observation, inspiration, and intuition. Ideas often begin as fleeting thoughts that I allow time to mature and take shape. Walking is an essential part of my process—it grounds me in the present moment, offering a fresh perspective as I observe people, colors, structures, and textures around me. I am constantly consuming art in its many forms, finding inspiration not only in the works of other artists but also in the stories and people that inspired them. For me, the act of creating is as much about connection as it is about expression—a way to share what I’ve absorbed from the world with others.

OF CREATING

EYES AND GAZE

I often focus on the human eye and gaze, drawn to the profound emotions they convey. The eyes are one of the most expressive parts of the human face, capable of capturing subtle emotions. The direct gaze of a subject in my art often breaks the "fourth wall," inviting the viewer into the world of the artwork, creating an interaction and dialogue between the subject and the observer. I also explore the concept of perception—how we see and are seen—using the gaze to comment on societal views or to reflect on the subject's identity.

TEXTURES

By incorporating textural elements, I aim to add tactile quality not only to capture the eye of the viewer but also to invite them to a sensory experience. Light and shadow play a crucial role in this process, as they help to enhance the textures and bring the artwork to life. The interplay of light and shadow creates dynamism, adding movement and energy.

SYMBOLISM

I use symbolic elements as a means to explore deeper narratives, blending the conceptual with the fantastical. Surrealism allows me to play with imagery that feels both familiar and otherworldly, creating a space where reality and imagination collide. Symbols are not just visual details—they are vessels for meaning, emotion, and storytelling. They create layers within the artwork, encouraging viewers to look beyond the surface and engage with the themes on a personal level. This interplay between surrealism and symbolism opens the door to limitless interpretations, offering both a reflection of my inner world and a playful invitation for others to uncover their own meanings within the work.
